Core Principles of Tai Chi and Qigong
This workshop will introduce a range of underlying principles of Yang Style Tai Chi. Even if you are a complete beginner this will introduce you to the reasons why we do the form/choreography the way we do. If you've been doing tai chi a while, it will deepen your practice and your understanding of how your body relaxes, receives and issues force.
Sunday morning training will also be in Brighton this week, 10.30-12.30 (£10 drop-in, touching in on many aspects of curriculum). The hall will be available during the break.
Time: 1 - 4pm
Location: Middle Street Primary, Brighton (nursery entrance on Middle St)
Cost £25 cash/BACS

Pole to Pole Taiji Summer Camp - Shetland
The first MIAM UK summer camp will be held in Shetland and hosted by Juergen Kurtz and his Wu Wei Studio. The aim of this event is to practise and share knowledge of the Yang style curriculum taught by our teacher Master Sam Masich.
The itinerary will be informal and flexible (details to follow) and all tuition will be free and led by volunteer instructors from around the UK/Europe.
Children and families are welcome. Childcare will be shared amongst any parents in the group so that everyone gets to train and spend time with the family. There will be plenty of opportunity to explore in the afternoons.
The reason for the Pole to Pole name is that Shetland represents one pole and Brighton (where we are) the other pole of the UK - 2019 will see the South hosting what's planned to be an annual event!
